Author's note: This is a series that Kevin and Carson have started. It is called The Revealers and will have many parts, most of which me Carson Kevin have collaborated and on and made together.
"What are you doing!!!?" said the earpiece in the guards ear.
"Just stargazing ma'am, it's very pretty outside"
"Well, be alert, because we need that delivery to come in safely. I think someone might be trying to intercept it"
"Okay, but I don't really think that someone wo-" He was cut short
"Hello, are you there" The woman pulled her microphone off and told a man standing behind her "Someone or something is after that package!"
Today was a very abnormal school day for Tobias. It seemed as though all the teachers knew something that the students didn't. Mr. Doshberg started panting and sweating in the middle of a speech about the darwin awards. Tobias really had no idea why they were studying how people died. All of his teachers were acting strange. The only explantion that he coud come up with was that the refrigerator in the teacher's lounge broke. He was dying to know what the problem was during the school day. But now that he was on the walk home he just shrugged the question off, and started thinking about his new favorite game Invad3rs.
Tobias's thoughts on his game disappeared when he noticed he was being followed. A black car, the one someone would imagine the secret service agents have, was stalking him. The car followed him and suddenly stopped a man opened the door stood, it alnost looked like he started stretching. "Come with us" the man said. Who, frankly, looked like that he himself was a secret service agent "Now!" He harshly added. Tobias immediatly started running. "I knew this would happen" The man sighed to someone else in the car. He pulled out a gun and fired. He didn't miss.
Tobias awoke in the backseat of the car, very loopy and with a headache the two men were speaking very quietly. They were both wearing sunglasses, earpeices, and a full suit. One had a crop-cut hair, while the other had-but not unruly-curly hair. The one in the passenger seat muttered something about Tobias being awake. "We had to take you. It seems you have been infected, do not worry about your mother and father for they know that you are with us." Tobias tried replying, he didn't know what they meant by infected, he was still too loopy to talk. All he could do was gurgle up saliva, and mumble like he was choking, it didn't really sound human at all. "We will be at the train station soon. Your questions will be answered soon, but the best thing you can do now is sleep. And like magic, when he said it, Tobias fell right asleep.
Tobias awoke in a room on a train.It wasn't really a room, more like a couch with a overhang cabinet above. Kind of like a closet. He felt grimy on the inside, with a headache and a sour taste in his mouth, but before he could think about his pains anymore the door to his "closet" opened. And a man came in but he was dressed more casually than the men who "kidnapped" him, he was still wearing sunglasses. Tobias was starting to think that all of these people wore sunglasses. Maybe it was some sort of dress code or something. Somebody came in behind this man who was wearing a suit but no sunglasses. If this person had been wearing sunglasses he wouldn't be able to tell that this was a woman.
She pulled out an ipad and shoved it in his face. It was already set to play a video, put her finger out and pressed play. Tobias stared at the screen, and watched, he saw three armed guards with machine guns and four guards carrying a large box. A black swift object, clearly flying swooped down, snatch a guard and covered his mouth, then flew away. The guards were spaced apart enough for the others not to notice. Then two creatures swooped down and grabbed the guards, one flew the guard away and the guard other broke free and killed the creature. He yelled into the microphone and said "two guards down, something is after the shipment"Fuzz.The other guards dropped the package and pulled out their guns. They weren't aware of the emerging horde of creatures around them. The screen went black-probably a creature in front of it-but it was still running, he could still hear the gun and the screeching of the monsters dying. When the"blackness" cleared all of the humans were dead and six of the about thirty beasts were on the floor either dead or dying. And the package seemed to have exploded. Tobias couldn't figure out how but he could see a large dune where the package had been and a dark figure that looked like a box.
"Those things that were flying, the were humans, at least at one point in their lives" said the lady " Until they got infected, which you are. Let us start at the beginning, my name is Alice. Yours is Tobias, and we picked you up at exactly two forty-three this afternoon, I know you are wondering what we are and why you have been placed on this train headed towards a marine base in southern Pennsylvania. Now you are wondering where we are and I'll tell you that we are in the exact middle of Iowa. We will reach our destination in about 20 minutes. Your brain has immediately started questioning me because if we started in the middle of California how could we be in Iowa and it is not dark yet. We are moving at a speed of about five-hundred miles an hour." Tobias gasped " We are taking you to this compound because they may have a cure for your infection. Because as I have stated earlier, you have been infected by your game 'Invad3rs', where quote one of the reviews was 'You really start to feel part of the action'.
"Those beasts you saw in the video, those were people who happened to be infected, just like you." Just then a man came in and asked for Alice. "Sleep" she said. And once again he fell asleep sitting up, right as the words passed over her lip.***He awoke when the train stopped. It was going five-hundred miles an hour, so it was very loud, and the front was tipping so that he was being pulled against the wall. Then gravity came back from its coffee break and he fell to the ground with a thump. He snatched a quick look outside his room's door and saw someone walking his way. "Come with me" the man said immediately. They walked to the the nearest couple connecting two cars they jumped off. The man went back onto the train and it pulled away. Within thirty seconds it was completely gone. A military escort came up to Tobias and walked him towards a nearby building
"Welcome to George S.Rentz Marine base, we are here to-" His sentence was cut short when a familiar screech sounded above them. "Get Inside!" he shoved Tobias into a shed and pulled out his weapon. A helicopter pulled out above and started unloading on the beasts. Outside the fight raged on when dozens of armed choppers take to the skies. The creatures swarm the helicopters, he sees a creature reach in and grab the gunner, he throws him to the ground. He sees dozens and dozens of creatures fall dead to the ground, with the occasional soldier fighting the creature on the way down. Tobias is startled to see a bright light in the sky, he realized it was a chopper. A bright flame falls to the ground surrounded in creatures still attacking the chopper, but some were burning they jumped off and burned to a crisp. There was one beast biting from the bottom and when the chopper hit the ground,there was a loud splat and a grotesque arm stuck out from below.About an hour later the fighting starts to stop; the creatures were retreating.
