Eragon is a very fascinating book that takes place over many locations, that don't exist. This book is a fantasy and action that takes place in about the middle ages. Except that there's dragons and magic. The main conflict is that the main character, named Eragon has found a dragon and is now being hunted by the corrupt ruler of the kingdom. Before Eragon found his dragon egg they were thought to be extinct, the last one in the king's possession. And he wants that last one.
Eragon is continuously on the run from the government during the book. At one point he is captured, and during his escape, he discovers a elf princess and decides to rescue her. She is badly injured and tortured, but gives Eragon the location to the only place that will be safe for him, and the only place where she can be saved. On his journey to the safe haven he is chased by the strange race called urgals, and attacked by slavers. After long restless nights of running and fighting he finally makes it to the underground city that will be his safe haven.
This sounds like a book for people who like fantasy. I saw part of the movie. I think Ill read this book.
